“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.” ~B.K.S. Iyengar
Santosha Yoga Therapy
What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is an individualized practice with the specific needs of the client in mind. It approaches this work from a biopsychosocial-spiritual model meeting the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the client. It is important for anyone who is looking for guidance and a plan for health and well being. It is accessible to anyone, even (and especially) those struggling with chronic pain.

Come as you are.
Yoga Therapy is the opportunity to practice yoga no matter your situation in life. Yoga is a gift that can be accessible to anyone and everyone. It is about the importance of gaining the knowledge to access the tools needed to create ease of movement, calming of the body and mind, and possibly even alleviate the pain in life, physical and/or emotional. This is a very powerful and empowering thing if we can be gently guided in a way that allows us to find the strength within ourselves to create a life we’ve dreamed of. There is true freedom in that!
My goal is to help you find this. It exists in all of us… sometimes it’s just hard to see or acknowledge on our own.
“You gave me my life back. Your sessions and teaching showed me how to cope with chronic pain. I had not been coping or functioning at all. I just sat in a chair and hoped the pain would go away. You know how to personally teach, and reach an individual to help them cope with a serious problem. Your calm and caring way of reaching out to an individual was a huge help to me!
How do you thank someone that has given you your life back? I was so scared and you calmly helped me feel my way back into everyday activities. I will never forget you. I can’t thank you enough.”
